Beautiful portrayal of shocking events, as if the death of a young woman is not enough we now have to fight for many of our freedoms…the right to protest one of them.
Yes, its appalling – I think I did this as a sort of follow up to thinking about Magritte the other day, but this is not a cheerful kind of surrealism, more like reality in Britain! 😦
In my “vision” she didn’t have a nose! I think she’s probably inspired by another image by another artist, such as Magritte, he often drew people with absent faces, and I’d been thinking about his work in another blog post that day 🙂
